Where your consent is required for us to process your personal information, we will ask for your consent at the point at which you provide your data. You have the right to object to your personal information being processed on the grounds of Aesthetidocs’s legitimate interests. This Privacy Policy explains how Celluvéa collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information, including health information, and sets out your rights under UK data protection law. It applies to our website, booking system, consultations, and treatments.

2. The Information We Collect

3. How We Collect Your Data

We collect data directly from you when you book an appointment, complete a medical questionnaire or consent form, attend a consultation or treatment, contact us, or use our website. In limited cases we may receive information from a GP or other healthcare professional where you have asked us to, or where clinically necessary and lawful.

4. Our Lawful Bases for Processing

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

● Legal obligation: to meet our legal, regulatory, insurance, and record-keeping duties.

● Legitimate interests: to run and improve our clinic, keep records, and (where appropriate) contact you about your care, provided this does not override your rights.

For special-category (health) data, we additionally rely on the conditions in Article 9 of the UK GDPR, principally: your explicit consent, and/or the provision of health treatment and management of healthcare services. Clinical records are processed under our duty to provide safe care.

● A prescriber or other healthcare professional, where clinically necessary and lawful.

● Law enforcement or public authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

All processors are required to keep your data secure and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

7. International Transfers

Where any provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your data only as long as necessary. Clinical and treatment records are retained for the period recommended for adult health records — generally at least 8 years from your last treatment — to meet our clinical, insurance, and legal obligations. Marketing consents and related data are kept until you withdraw consent or after a period of inactivity. Financial records are kept for at least 6 years for tax purposes.

9. How We Protect Your Data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure, including access controls, secure clinical software, and staff confidentiality obligations. Where a personal data breach poses a risk to your rights, we will notify the ICO and, where required, you, in line with our legal duties.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to function; non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are used only with your consent via our cookie banner. You can manage your preferences at any time in your browser settings or via the banner.
